Regulation No. 3 on the marking of fishing vessels.

This Greenland Home Rule regulation sets rules for marking licensed Greenlandic fishing vessels. All vessels must display their international radio call sign in black on a white background, placed visibly on both sides of the vessel, preferably on the wheelhouse or superstructure. For vessels of 80 gross register tons (GRT) or more, the letters must be at least 100 cm high and 15 cm thick; for smaller vessels, at least 50 cm high and 8 cm thick. The markings must always be clean and legible. Violations can result in fines or loss of fishing license, with cases handled under the Fisheries Act.
