Regulation No. 38 on the ban on fishing and transshipment of pelagic deep-sea redfish from the Irminger Sea.

This regulation of the Government of Greenland establishes a comprehensive ban on fishing, transshipment, landing, and related support activities involving pelagic deep-sea redfish (Sebastes mentella) from the Irminger Sea and adjacent areas. Greenlandic vessels are prohibited from fishing in specified coordinates, from receiving fish through transshipment, or from providing supplies and services to vessels carrying this species. It is also forbidden to land these fish in Greenlandic ports or to use Greenlandic port services if carrying them. Violations can result in fines and confiscation, with companies also subject to criminal liability.
