Abstract
The present Greenland Home Rule Regulation on wolf protection declares wolves (Canis lupus) fully protected across the country, with the exception of Jameson Land and Liverpool Land in Ittoqqortoormiit municipality, where hunting is allowed. Wolves that are illegally killed, found dead, or killed in self-defense will be confiscated, and violations of the regulation are punishable by fines.
