Acquisition of Land by Aliens Law.

This Law makes provisions for the procedures regulating the acquisition of land. Amongst other things, it provides that aliens may only acquire land with the approval of the governor of the State. To this regard, the Law has penal provisions for aliens who occupy land unlawfully. The Law contains a subsidiary legislation which contains the form for the application of the Governor’s approval for the acquisition of land by an alien.
