These Regulations, made by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation according to section 56 of the Nigerian Cooperative Societies Law of 1993, cover the following matters: registration of Societies and application procedures; committee meetings; powers and duties of the committee; reserve fund of a registered Society; disputes and arbitration; fees.
