Borno State Rural Water Supply Agency Law, no. 7 of 2001.

This Law establishes the Borno State Rural Water Supply Agency. The Law specifies the following powers and functions of the Agency: control and management of rural waterworks; ensuring water supply for consumption purposes; providing rural boreholes, well sinking, rural sanitation and relating maintenance; strengthening community development and management. Further matters covered by the Law include: administrative structure of the Authority; funds of the Agency; penalties for offences.
