Abstract
This Law prohibits the indiscriminate and unapproved burning of bushes and forests, both as an agricultural or hunting practice. Importantly, it not only prohibits the burning of bushes but also setting fire in open places. It contains penal provisions for offenders with a prison term of up to one year. It also provides for the possibility of civil actions to be taken against offenders.
