Environmental Sanitation Edict, no. 4 of 1986, Chapter 49.

This Edict provides for improving environmental sanitation practices in the community and safeguarding public health. The Edict covers the following matters: appointment of medical officers and specification of their powers and duties, including inspection of any meal, poultry, game, fish, vegetables, grains, bread, flour or other commodities exposed for sale or any preparation for sale intended for human consumption; duties of owners and occupiers of premises; establishment and powers of the Environmental Sanitation Court; offences and penalties.
