Forestry Law, Chapter 52.

This Law concerns forest management in the State of Kebbi. The Law defines the following relevant terms: cattle; chairman of the local government; communal forestry area; community management; enclave; forestry officer; forest produce, including: timber, firewood, charcoal, rubber, trees and all other parts, plants including climbers and grasses, creepers and all parts or produce of such plants, peat surface soil and minerals, gravel, limestone, rock and laterite, honey, beeswax, guano, silk-cocoons, humus and all produce from animals found in a forest; forest reserve; lands at the disposal of the Government; protected forest; protected minor forest produce; protected tree; timber; taking timber. The Law provides for the following matters: appointment of forestry officer; special provisions relating to government of forest reserves and government of protected forests; special provisions relating to local government forest reserves; measures concerning protected forests; communal forestry areas; general provisions on entry upon land.
