Guidance on Implementation of Lockdown Policy.

This Guidance is issued by the Presidential task force that effective from March, 2020 that schools, organisations and businesses in FCT, Lagos and Ogun States shall be closed for an initial period of 2 weeks. This provides the guidance for the enforcement of the lockdown and social distancing aimed at limiting the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease. Amongst others, it closes the borders linking the aforementioned States and the FCT, restricts the movement of persons with the exception of movement for the purposes of providing essential goods and services, restricts mass gatherings with exceptions. It also provides general hygiene, social distancing and other COVID-19 specific protocols for the use of road transport, super markets and food stores, markets, banks and pharmacies.
