Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Agency, Law No. 12 of 2015.

This Law establishes the Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Agency (KASUPDA). The Agency shall perform the following functions: (a) Formulation of State Policies for urban and regional planning in conjunction with the Ministry of Lands, Surveys and Country Planning; (b) Implementation of State Policies for urban and regional planning and physical development of the State; (c) The initiation, preparation and review in collaboration with the appropriate Local Planning Authority: (i) Preparing Physical Development Plans; (ii) Master plans for each of the Local Government areas in the state; (iii) District plan; (iv) Outline development plans; and (v) Other physical development plans and scheme embracing special distribution of major roads, location of industrial, commercial, residential, administrative a well as recreational facilities, etc.
