Kebbi State Geographical Information System Agency Law.

The law provides a legal framework to modernize and regulate land administration in Kebbi State through Geographical Information System (GIS) technology. The law creates the Agency as a corporate body with a Governing Board, led by a Governor-appointed Chairman and members, to manage land data and geographical information in the state. Its functions include administering land titles, certificates of occupancy, maintaining a central GIS database, coordinating land management, and providing technical support. The Agency has powers to sue, acquire property, accept gifts, and access information for its work. A Project Manager, appointed by the Governor, oversees daily administration, while staff are governed by public service rules. The law sets out financial provisions, reporting obligations, powers to make regulations, offences and penalties for obstruction, and indemnity for members.
