Public Health Law.

This Law concerns public health matters in the State of Adamawa. The Law defines the following relevant terms: dairy products; health officer; medical officer; infectious diseases in relation to human beings. The Law concerns: appointment of medical officers of health; duties of medical officers of health; nuisances injurious to public health, including dangerous and molesting animals, weeds and any vegetable injurious to health; any plant or tree favourable to the breeding of mosquitoes; inspection of food for quality level; penalties for specific offences relating to food; declaration of infected area and order for evacuation; selling of wine, beer and spirits in an infected area; disinfection measures; destruction of animals; legal proceedings.
