Abstract
This Order establishes fourteen agricultural research institutes and provides for their constitution, functions and relationship with the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria and in one case with the Ahmadu Bello University.
The Order also provides for the transfer of property, and other rights now vested in specified Federal agencies or departments to the institutes established by this Order. Further provisions are made in respect of the facilitation of mutual cooperation in research and teaching between the institutes and universities in Nigeria or elsewhere.
