Abstract
This Law establishes the Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Agency and specifies its competencies and duties, including: ensuring water supply and sanitation services in the State; taking inventory of existing water supply and environmental sanitation facilities; setting of minimum standards for sanitation services in the State; ensuring eradication of all water-related diseases. Further matters covered by this Law include: establishment of Local Government specific departments and committees concerning water supply and environmental sanitation issues; funds of Agency.
