Water Board Law, chapter 142 of 1992.

This Law, divided into six parts, establishes the Water Board in the Adamawa State, and thus concerns the following matters: catchment area; dwelling house; land owner; private and public supply of water; waterworks. Matters covered by this Law concern: objects, functions and powers of the Water Board, including: management and control of waterworks, conduction of research on water supply and water use management, water abstraction from underground sources, enter and inspect any land for water use purposes, acquire and dispose of any land and other immovable property; management of affairs of the Board; financial provisions and funds of the Board; general penalties.
