Abstract
This Act provides for the establishment of the Wadden Council as an advisory body to the houses of parliament, the Government and, at its own initiative or at request, to provinces and municipalities involved in the Wadden area. The Wadden area is an important area in the north of the Netherlands, largely protected and a natural habitat to various kinds of protected animals and birds.
