Decree of 15 September 1994, establishing the entry into force of the Rhine Police Regulations in the Netherlands.

This Decree concerns the following matters and measures applicable in the Netherlands for ensuring the Rhine navigation: obligations of the crew and other persons on board of ships and vessels; duties and responsibilities of the skippers; conduct under special circumstances; requirements regarding loading, appearance and maximum permitted number of passengers; prohibition of throwing objects or liquids into the water; reporting of accidents; obligation to clear the waterway; registration and measurement of ships; information and navigation equipment; sailing rules; rules for mooring; special sailing rules and special rules for mooring under particular circumstances; restriction of navigation and shipping at high and low tide; environmental provisions and protection of water against pollution and disposal of ship wastes; prohibition of discharging.
