Abstract
This Decree establishes the outer limit of the contiguous zone for the Netherlands, Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles as established by the Act at 24 nautical miles measured from the baselines from which the breadth of the territorial sea is measured. Where the contiguous overlaps the territory of another State, the outer limit shall be the border established between the two States or the median line measured from the baselines of the two States.
Entry into force notes
This Decree and the Act enter into force on 1 September 2006.
