Decree No. 37 of 1993: Agriculture Quality Geographic Indications, Designation Origin and Certification of Specific Character.

This Ministerial Regulation implements EC Council Regulation (EC) 2081/92 respectively 2082/92 concerning the protection of geographical indications and designation of origin for agricultural products and foodstuffs respectively the certificates of specific character for agricultural products and foodstuffs. The Regulation makes, inter alia, provision for the registration of indications for which producers or processors of food products may apply. These producers or processors shall join one of the control organizations mentioned in article 6. (11 articles)
