Abstract
This Act provides for banning coal in electricity production, in order to achieve CO2 level reduction at coal-fired power stations and thus combat climate change. The Act concerns: monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired power stations; specification of electrical efficiency; environmental permit for installing power stations; Ministerial compensation granted to any operator of a production installation for damage resulting from the implementation of the ban; establishment of a special fund for payments to employees of a production installation; imposition of administrative sanctions for misconduct.
