Abstract
This Act regulates the hunting and capturing of polar bears. Its scope of application is the Norwegian land and sea territory, and applies to hunting by Norwegian citizens, Norwegian companies, and contributors of such hunting. According to Section 2, polar bears shall be protected against all hunting. The King may provide exemptions to such rule in accordance with international law. Penalties and offenses include fines and prison up to 1 year, unless the Penal Code applies.
