Abstract
The purpose of this Act is to protect humans and animals from attacks and injuries caused by dangerous dogs. Dangerous dogs are defined as dogs that are particularly aggressive, combative, and persistent, and which, due to these characteristics, pose a danger to humans and animals. The Ministy is empowered to determine specific breeds or types of dogs that shall be covered by the provisions of this Act. The Act prohibits to import dangerous dogs, incluing semen and embryos from dangerous dogs, and also prohibits to keep or breed dangerous dogs.
