Abstract
The present Act modifies Act No. 132 on Medicines introducing a new chapter Ia on "Animal drugs". The Act incorporates into Norwegian law the Regulation (EU) 2019/6 of the European Parliament and of the Council on veterinary medicinal products and repealing Directive 2001/82/EC. Powers are granted to the Ministry of Health and Care Services to regulate specific areas concerning veterinary medicinal products.
