Act No. 59 relating to community-owned land.

The present Act lays down rules on community-owned land where property rights belong to at least half of the agricultural properties with customary right of use in the common land ("Bygdeallmenning" in Norwegian). The Act contains the following chapters: 1. General provisions; 2. Right of use in community-owned land; 3. Management and administration; 4. Election of the general board; 5. Forestry right; 6. Grazing, shieling and arable land; 7. Fishing; 8. Final provisions.
