Abstract
The objective of this Act is to counteract market disturbances due to the supply of fish and fish products from other countries at abnormally low prices. If imported fish and fish products are offered at prices that are lower than the minimum prices determined for similar products for domestic sales, and significant quantities of such product are imported, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries may set a minimum import price for the products in question.
