Abstract
This Act makes provision for the exchange of lands either between private parties for purposes of rational use or public bodies and private parties for purposes of rational use or purposes of public interest such as the construction of roads or railways. The sections of this Act are divided into 13 Chapters: Criteria for exchange of land (I); Land Consolidation Court (II); procedures of land consolidation for public purposes (III); Delimitation of land to be exchanged (IV); Basis for land consolidation (V); Land consolidation plans and accompanying rules (VI); Legal action and inspection (VII); Costs of land consolidation (VIII); Land consolidation based on amicable settlement (IX); Division of property (X); Delimitation of property (XI); Mediation (XIa); Further rules (XII).
The King may establish various land consolidation tribunals for determined geographic areas (sect. 7). Chapter VI contains an extensive set of rules relative to actual land consolidation.
