Decree containing State water policy directions (No. 1001 of 1994).

This Decree contains directions of the Department of the Environment regarding protected watercourses. "Protected watercourses" are watercourses included in one of the 4 Protection Plans for Watercourses ( 1973, 1980, 1986, 1993).It applies to the watercourse belt, i.e. main stream, side rivers, lakes, and water basins within an area of 100 metres width along the stream. Municipalities shall use these directions as a basis for planning in accordance with the Act relative to planning and construction.
