Decree on financial aid for conservation of landscape and on the basis of acreage.

The scope of financial support for all kinds of farming is to balance cultivation throughout the country and to smooth differences due to geographic position, size of farm, etc., to enhance the creation of "cultural landscape" and to maintain cultivation in operation. Section 2 lists all plant species, the cultivation of which is eligible for aid as well as all eligible areas. Section 3 outlines the conditions for aid: farmers shall implement various measures regarding cultivation, conservation of landscape, and water management. Section 4 provides for the calculation of aid on the basis of factors including geographic position and size of the land, and type of cultivation, e.g. the relationship between land used for the cultivation of feedstock and number of animals.
