Decree No. 1537 of 2010 to regulate fishing for deep-sea fish species in ICES Statistics Areas X, XII, and XIV in waters that are not under jurisdiction of any State (international waters) in 2011.

This Decree prohibits Norwegian vessels in the year 2011 to fish for and deliver demersal fish species listed in article 1 in ICES Statistics Areas X,XII, and XIV in waters that are not under jurisdiction of any State. Exempted from the prohibition are a total of 508 fishing days by maximum 17 Norwegian vessels. The Director of Fisheries may order a stop on fishing after the allocated fishing days are used. Offences shall be punished pursuant to sections 60, 61, 62 and 64 of the Marine Living Resources Act.
