Decree No. 1654 of 2010 to regulate fishing for Norway pout in 2011.

This Decree prohibits in principle fishing for Norway pout in 2011 by Norwegian vessels. The Decree, however, allows bycatch of Norway pout to the extend of 20 percent of other fish species. The Fisheries Directorate may issue further rules for rational management of fishery provided for by this Decree. Offences shall be punished in accordance with sections 60, 61, 64 and 65 of the Marine Living Resources Act.
