Decree on the Reindeer Development Fund (No. 755 of 1993).

This Decree concerns a Fund for the development of reindeer farming and related activities, as provided for in the Reindeer Farming Agreement. It shall be fuelled by moneys arising from measures in force under the Agreement. The Fund may be used for practical measures regarding reindeer farming, but also for sideline activities of reindeer farming and for the support of Lappish culture and economy in general. Financial aid from the Fund shall consist of either grants or loans, or a combination of both. Applications for aid shall be handled by the subcommittee of the Reindeer Farming Council. Some powers may be delegated to the Reindeer Farming Director who shall also be the Secretary to the Fund. (6 sections)
