Abstract
The Council for the Measurement of Timber is composed of representatives of the Norwegian Forest Owners Association, The Paper Industry Union, The Forest Industry Association and other bodies which are involved in the timber industry. It shall occupy itself with matters which are of common interest to the timber measurement associations. As such it shall issue rules and instructions regarding measurement, carry out control on measurement, provide training, and to coordinate research. Appeal against decisions of the Council may be had with the Ministry of Agriculture. (7 sections)
