Delegation of authority to the Department of Fisheries (No. 1142 of 1996).

This Royal Resolution, issued on initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, appoints the Department of Fisheries as the authority in Norway for the management and conservation of migratory of straddling fish stocks and highly migratory fish stocks as required under the 1995 Agreement implementing the UN Law of the Sea Convention of 1982.
