Regulation No. 1047 on the use in Norway of genetic material originating in third countries.

The purpose of this Regulation is to provide and pass on information concerning the use in Norway of genetic material originating in other countries and traditional knowledge related to the use of such material. It lays down rules on the information that anyone who uses genetic material originating in other countries or the traditional knowledge linked to such material for research or commercial purposes must keep and transfer to subsequent users of the material or knowledge.
