Abstract
Purpose of this Regulation is to grant subsidy to regional environmental initiatives in agriculture in Oslo and Akershus, and to ensure active and sustainable agriculture operating within acceptable environmental limits by reducing pollution from agricultural operations. Subsidy may be granted for cultivated areas where measures are implemented to prevent or reduce pollution and coastal erosion, as well as the reduction of use of chemical substances when protecting plants.
The Regulation consists of 8 Chapters: Introductory provisions (1); Measures to reduce discharge to surface waterways and coasts (2); Measures to reduce the use of chemical pesticides (3); Measures to safeguard agriculture (4); Measures to protect biodiversity (5); Contribution to heritage and cultural conservation (6); Grants for outdoor activities and availability (7); General provisions (8).
