Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation is to enforce local hunting extension of season for elk/moose in Harstad municipality, in order to accommodate specific populations, administrative and commercial needs. The valid hunting period for moose is 2014-2016 - between 25 September and 31 October only. Troms Municipality Council sets as a prerequisite for extended hunting season for elk hunting consistency with other hunting and ways of exploiting the countryside. The Municipality of Troms may at any time revoke this extension if major inconveniences to outlying areas may occur.
