Abstract
It is prohibited for Norwegian vessels to fish and land sandeel in 2013. However, Norwegian vessels are eligible to participate in sandeel-fishing and land within designated areas in the economic zone from 23 April 2013 to 23 June 2013. The eligibility also applies to vessels with pelagic trawl permit and North Sea trawl permit. Allowance of fishing and landing species within the regulatory year shall be subject to provisions on special quota arrangements from the Directorate of Fisheries and fished quantity may not be transferred to other vessels.
