Abstract
This Regulation sets rules for the protection of "Gamalost frå Vik" (Old Cheese from Vik), a Norwegian traditional cheese from Vik, as a geographical indication. Products complying with the specifications contained in Article 3 can designate products with the geographical indication "Gamalost frå Vik", and affix the corresponding logo. The Annex describes the products' origin and link with the geographical area.
