Regulation No. 1270 on the designation of watercourse authorities under the Water Resources Act.

This Regulation establishes which authorities are responsible for managing water resources under Norway's Water Resources Act. At the national level, responsibility is assigned to the King, the Ministry of Energy, and the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE), with the Ministry of Health and the Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) handling specific provisions.
