Regulation No. 1310 on the county authorities' responsibilities in the field of outdoor recreation.

The present Regulation lays down rules on the county authorities' responsibilities in the field of outdoor recreation. County authorities (fylkeskommuner) shall, through their own initiatives, distribution of state grant funds, and participation in state projects, contribute to the preservation and development of areas, access routes, and facilities for outdoor recreation and encourage outdoor activities. They shall also contribute to providing information about the rights and responsibilities associated with the the right to roam (allemannsrett).
