Regulation No. 1399 on Utladalen landscape area, Luster and Årdal Municipalities, Sogn og Fjordane.

Purpose of this Regulation is to ensure the conservation of Jotunheimen National Park. Furthermore, the purpose of protection includes nature areas rich in flora and fauna, high mountains, glaciers and geological reserves. The goal of these provisions aims to maintain natural diversity characterizing natural types of lowland, valleys, and wooded slopes, including a characteristic river ecosystems and landscapes. Specific protection areas are in Luster and Årdal municipalities and are equivalent to a total of 314 square meters. The Regulation includes provisions related to the monitoring of environmental pollution and ensures wildlife protection (hunting, fishing, mining, vehicle transit etc.).
