Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation is to preserve an area of high proportion of highly productive forest with rough grown spruce. The sediment-rich sections of the site represent a forest vulnerable and very rare in Norway. The North-facing position and stabilizing soil moisture provides a particularly humid climate where its vegetation is of small fern type with elements of low herb. The goal is to maintain conservation values in the most pristine conditions, and possibly developing them. National authorities may grant exemption with regard to measures in connection with the management of wildlife and fish; maintenance and management of cultural heritage; and the maintenance of old drainage ditches on land.
