Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation is to preserve one of the largest contiguous mature forest areas with spruce in central eastern Norway with one of the largest deposits in Europe of the rare and vulnerable laven. Furthermore, the purpose of the nature reserve is to preserve an area of particular value for biodiversity, habitats, ecosystems, plant and animal species and natural ecological processes. The natural reserve runs through location/BNR.: 310/1, 311/1 in Østre Toten municipality and covers a total area of approx. 9 456 acres.
