Abstract
The purpose of the nature reserve is to preserve an area containing endangered, rare and vulnerable nature and of particular importance for biodiversity. The area is dominated by the rich and lush deciduous forest. The variety of rich swamp forests to more sun-exposed forest types on drier ground provides a high diversity of habitats and biodiversity. The nature reserve is considered suitable to increase its conservation value, primarily through free development. The objective is to maintain conservation values in the most untouched condition, and further develop them. The natural reserve runs through location/BNR.: 152/1, 153/1 in Vestby municipality and covers a total area of approx. 115 acres.
