Regulation No. 2236 on subsidies for genetic resource measures - livestock, plants and forest trees.

The present Regulation lays down rules on financial support to contribute to the conservation and sustainable use of livestock, plant and forest genetic resources with importance for Norwegian food and agriculture. The financial support can be used for the conservation of livestock breeds, cultivated plants and forest trees worthy of preservation in Norway; the sustainable use of genetic resources; mapping, documenting, monitoring and characterizing genetic resources; and for dissemination and knowledge generation about genetic resources.
