The present Regulation lays down rules prohibiting fishing in cod spawning areas in Norway's economic zone south of 62° N in 2023. The prohibition applies to Norwegian and foreign vessels. Article 2 specifies the areas and time periods when the prohibition applies. The prohibition does not apply to to fishing with ring seines and pelagic trawls.
