Abstract
The present Regulation lays down rules for haddock fishing for the year 2023 in Norway's territorial sea and exclusive economic zone. It prohibits haddock fshing beyond the established quotas. The total allowable catch for haddock is 7 603 tonnes, of which 20 tonnes are for research and education. Rules are laid down regulation vessel allocation, by-catch, use of fishing quotas throughout the year, transshipment prohibition, etc. The Directorate of Fisheries can order a halt of fishing when the quotas have been used.
