Abstract
The present Regulation lays down rules for pollock fishing for the year 2023 in the North Sea and Skagerrak. It prohibits haddock fshing beyond the established quotas. The total allowable catch for pollock in the areas defined by the Regulation is 27 375 tonnes, of which 1 tonnes are exclusive for research and education. Rules are laid down regulating vessel allocation accordig to fishing gear used, by-catch, use of fishing quotas throughout the year, etc. The Directorate of Fisheries can order a halt of fishing when the quotas have been used.
