Regulation No. 2508 on grants for protected cultural heritage in private ownership.

The present Regulation establishes a grant scheme aimed at preserving protected cultural heritage and cultural environments in private ownership and to contribute to their restoration according to conservation guidelines. The scheme aims to ensure the value of cultural heritage and cultural environments as resources, the preservation of conditions for providing experiences, and to facilitate sustainable value creation and use. Grants can be awarded for restoration and maintenance measures of cultural heritage and cultural environments that are protected, temporarily protected, or where a protection case is under consideration. The procedural aspects for applying for the grant are regulated in detail.
